PAINTINGS

Made using ancestral techniques from Italy such as stucco and marmorino, using noble materials such as lime, marble powder and natural pigments, Evangeline's works contribute to the preservation of a rich and delicate heritage, which, applied to contemporary art, is subtly revealed.

"Contrastes"

A series of works where raw pigments meet precious metal.

Mineral pigments, charcoals, natural earths, dense and opaque, meet the warmth and nuanced light of Gold, to create a subtle contrast between these materials.

The Contrasts series makes us into a poetic and sensitive universe where material is shaped and revealed with finesse through materials used by man since eternity.

Natural soils : Natural Sienna, burnt Sienna, natural umber, burnt umber, gray clays, green clays, come from various regions of the world.

PAINTINGS

"Les Grands Espaces"

Arid steppes, sandy deserts, snow-capped peaks, terrestrial mists, giant cliffs, lake expanses, Evangeline invites us to immerse ourselves in her Great Spaces where natural soils, water and minerals take an essential place.

Nature, his main source of inspiration, unfolds like a frieze and borders on abstraction, playing on optics and light effects.

COLLAGES

Inspired by her studies in archeology and art history, Evangéline creates pieces of art who reinterpret major symbols of our cultural heritage. Her collages, made of carefully cut or torn paper, evoke fragments of ancient temples, Renaissance sculptures, Ottoman mosques, Orthodox icons or Art Nouveau facades.

Her collages give birth to new spaces where each scene invites us to explore the history of art from a poetic and timeless angle.
